GROUP INTRODUCTION
KANJANI∞ was formed on December 18, 2002. All the 8 members originated from Kansai region (6 from Osaka, 1 from Hyogo, 1 from Kyoto). At first, their name had the number "8" because they had a show on Kansai TV (channel 8) but later changed the number 8 to ∞.They debuted in Kansai region on August 25, 2004 with an enka song titled "Naniwa Iroha Bushi" and later debuted nationally on September 22 in the same year. They lost their member Uchi Hiroki officially on December 2006.Kanjani∞ is the first Johnny's group who went on tour to all 47 prefectures in Japan in 2007. They performed in Tokyo for the first time as the final concert for the 47 prefectures tour.In 2011, they held their first 5-dome tour. The 5-dome tour became a yearly event until 2019. They planned to hold another dome tour in 2020 but had to cancel due to COVID-19. The year 2011 was also the year of their first Kohaku appearance and appointed as 24 hour TV main personality.Shibutani Subaru, the band frontman and one of the lead vocals left the group to pursue solo career in 2018. A year later, in September 2019, Nishikido Ryo who was another main vocal, left the group.The remaining five members started another 47 prefectures tour in 2019 but had to put it on hold due to COVID-19 in early 2020. In 2021, Kanjani∞ released the album "8BEAT" which became their 10th original album and their next album since they released "JAM" in 2017.Following Johnny's issues in 2023, the group opted for a name change. They initiated a suggestion process through their fan club for fans to propose new names. On February 4th, 2024, they announced their new name as SUPER EIGHT.

From 2010 in charge of percussion. In 2013 he started learning trumpet and in 2021 he started learning guitar. So now he plays percussion, trumpet and guitar for SUPER EIGHT.
He's been helping Kansai Juniors since 2018 for their comedy skits.

First auditioned for Johnny's in 1996 but he didn't know he passed so he auditioned again in 1997
His parents are both bodybuilders and he's the oldest child in family
Plays bass for SUPER EIGHT and has a collection of around 70 bass guitars
Before SUPER EIGHT he was in the unit called V.WEST and initially wanted to play guitar
LOVES manga and he is an Evangelion otaku. He also reads BL comics.
During Jr days he used to live with Hina and is very close to Hina even now.

The son of the CEO of Japan's famous chain restaurant "Tori Kizoku".
The youngest member in SUPER EIGHT, the oldest child in his family (has 2 younger brothers)
SUPER EIGHT's drummer. He started learning drums to be included in the group. He can play guitar, too.
He LOVES to eat. Hates sweets (but Japanese sweets or wagashi are okay).
In 2016 he couldn't perform in SUPER EIGHT's tour final because he was hospitalized due to intestinal obstruction.
Since 2018 he's been helping Kansai Jr (with Yoko, too) and is the producer of Naniwa Danshi and AmBitious.

CANDY EIGHT
Yokoko, the pure super idol. Basically the 'protector' of the too-free-spirited members.
Candy Eight. Super Eight's sister group. Was called Canjani∞ but changed the name as SUPER EIGHT changed theirs. First appeared in 2015 with the single Candy My Love and made a comeback in 2022 with their second single.
Murako. Her charm point is, wait for itーher double tooth! Has a habit of showing off her underpants during performance.
Maruko. Always fights with Kurako. Wants to break free from her shell, thinks she's cute and always driven to please others.
Yasuko, the daughter of ex-delinquents (yankii). The youngest of 15 siblings. She also has a yankii spirit, really good with senpais.
Kurako, the main visual of the group (apparently). Got a very sharp tongue, loves to tease Maruko by calling her "ugly". Loves expensive things and her...daddies (?)
INFINITY RECORDS
SUPER EIGHT records their music under INFINITY RECORDS (under J-Storm) from 2014 onwards.
Until 2014, their recordings were handled by Teichiku Records (Imperial Records).
Their 10 year contract with Teichiku expired and the jimusho set up a new label for SUPER EIGHT, established on their Kansai debut date on August 25th 2014.

If you check Infinity Records' website on the member's birthday, you can see a special loading page to celebrate the member's birthday!OH by the way, the logo is called "Kuchibiru-kun" (kuchibiru = lips). The logo changed after the group changed their name.
The cartoon characters of SUPER EIGHT that you see on website and twitter is called "BOY". First appeared as 15sai tour goods in 2019 and later appeared as digital characters. How the BOYs look (hair color, clothes) are adjusted to the members' look every new release.
